STORMY SEASCAPE AT MIDNIGHT FANTASY

This is one of the rare moments when I get the urge to paint purely from my imagination.  This piece was inspired by a dream that I once had.  I love the ocean and its many moods, particularly when its in a bad one.  It could be anywhere you would like it to be, the Bahamas, a deserted south sea Island or if you're like me, on your very own doorstep, as I live on the coast and the sea front is only about five or ten minutes walk.  I've painted many seascapes, some of which have sold but I've always had the desire to paint a midnight scene, with the moon over stormy waves.  I hope that you enjoy putting yourself in this scene and standing there watching the wild waves pounding onto the shore and the moon shimmering over the ocean, as much as I enjoyed creating this wonderful scene.
