335 Santa Margherita, Italy
This painting was produced from the many photos that I have in my vast and widely varied collection. I particularly enjoyed the challenge that this quaint, but busy little harbour presented with its many brightly coloured houses, shops and cafes where one can sit outside and enjoy a typical italian pizza with all its trimmings or a cappuccino, whilst relaxing as you watch the world go by, or just leisurely stroll around the harbour admiring the scenery and the many boats. This spot was ideal in its composition because it gives the viewer an excellent insight into the many contrasting shades of greenery sandwiched between the blue sky and the colourful buildings down below to the tranquil reflections of the water, capturing
the mood and air of Santa Margherita one of the many beauty spots belonging to Italy, it won second prize in the Fylde Community Arts Project annual art competition and was placed in one of their calendars. Please feel free to enjoy the view and comment. I would love your feed back.

I was so inspired by Blackpool Tower and the beauty of its Ballroom that I just couldn't resist the oppotunity of working on this painting, so here it is in all its splendour and glory, I give you: Save the last dance for me.
