I am delighted to announce that I have been chosen as one of the winners in the 2019 Cago Contemporary Art Gallery online for the second time and this is my certificate. The title of my entry piece was: SWAN ON FAIRHAVEN LAKE, ST ANNE'S. It took 4th place.

This painting was worked from the many photographs from my vast collection. It was awarded the certificate of achievement in recognition of acheiving a standard of excellence at the 2013 Linda Eaton Craft Awards ceremony which took place on 5th October. The photo was taken while chilling out and enjoying an out door show one evening on holiday in
the pretty village of Westendorff, Austria, as it's one of my favorite holiday destinations along side Italy. Hope you get as much pleasure viewing as I did painting it.

Hello Folks
This is my lastest introduction, Hope you all enjoy! It was entered into a competition called the Linda Eaton craft awards
and came away with their certificate of excellence I am very proud to say. It was done in Vandyke brown mixed with a little
black to get the maxium effect of the half lighting. and Orange sometimes mixed with varying shades of red to achieve the lighter areas on stage.
It was done in oil, which I find a little challenging but then, that's half the fun. It's also a very nice medium to work with because if any mistakes are made they are easily wiped out and you can produce some wonderful and very dramatic effects
ie lighting clouds etc. Please feel free to make any comments as I would be very interested to know how people feel about my work and will always welcome any I receive.
